Hart of Dixie
Hart of Dixie is a comedy drama series starring Rachel Bilson as Dr. Zoe Hart. The show is about Dr. Zoe Hart, who after her dreams of becoming an cardio-thoracic surgeon fall apart, accepts an offer to work in a small medical practice in Bluebell, Alabama. The medical practice in bluebell was her dad, Harvey Wilkes’s, practice and he left half of his medical practice to her in his will. She finds that southern hospitality is always so hospitable-the other doctor in town Rick Breeland is less than pleased to be sharing his practice with Zoe, Lemon Breeland’s disposition turns sour when she meets Zoe. Zoe’s only allies are the mayor (former football star Levon Hayes), bad boy Wade, and the lawyer George Tucker (Lemon’s fiance). I think that Hart of Dixie is a really cute show and I really love the show. Rachel Bilson is such an amazing actress in the show, she’s seriously perfect for her role of Zoe hart. I feel like I really relate to Zoe Hart in terms of her lack of one-night stands, love life, etc. I think that is something that really makes this show even more enjoyable to me. I think this is the first show that I’ve watched where I actually feel like I relate to a character. As with Game of Thrones, I really feel for all the characters in the show, no matter how much I may actually dislike the character. I love the interactions of Zoe and Wade. They are so hysterical together. As much as Wade is a bad boy, he’s still really sweet and cute and I know he has feelings for Zoe and I feel bad for him when she rejects him. I do feel that a small part of Zoe does have feelings for him, even if only as friends. What Wade did for his father was really sweet. Not gonna say anymore about that. In terms of love life, Zoe has true feelings for George Tucker, the fiance of Lemon, so she has feelings for a taken man. As much as I’ve never had feelings for someone who is actually in a relationship, I currently have feelings for someone who is probably never gonna talk to me again/who I’m probably never gonna see again, and I used to be friends with him so like Zoe, I have feelings for a guy who there’s almost no chance of me being with. But enough about me lmao. I really like that George is very supportive of Zoe and is a friend to her despite his fiance’s Lemon’s feelings about Zoe. I don’t dislike Lemon, but I wouldn’t say that I like her either, but I guess I can say that I understand how she’s feelings and sometimes can actually feel happy/sad etc for her. Same goes for Rick Breeland. Although he does warm up a lil bit to having to share his practice with Zoe despite the fact that he still wants to have the practice to himself etc. I love how close Zoe is to the mayor. They definitely have a great friendship going on there. Lemon also seems to still have some feelings towards the mayor even though she’s engaged to George. I just love Hart of Dixie. Its sweet, romantic, full of drama, and really different. There’s nothing about this show I don’t like. I highly recommend this show to anyone who hasn’t seen it yet! Its just an amazing, sweet show and I love seeing the interactions among the characters and everything about the show! Sooo glad that I started watching this show! Its definitely one of my new favorites!
